Carbon Credits from One of the World’s Most Intact Rainforests
Guyana is home to one of the largest remaining intact tropical rainforests on Earth. These forests store billions of tons of carbon and play a critical role in stabilizing the global climate.
Guyana’s credits are issued under the ART TREES standard, one of the most rigorous jurisdictional carbon credit frameworks in the world.
Help protect high-forest, low-deforestation (HFLD) ecosystems
Support Guyana’s indigenous populations and sustainable development
Contribute to climate mitigation efforts tied to verified national programs
This certificate confirms your participation in a voluntary carbon credit purchase associated with Guyana’s national jurisdictional REDD+ program under the ART TREES standard. It documents the number of carbon credits you purchased and your inclusion in a pooled purchase block.
Not yet. Individual purchases are pooled into blocks of 50,000 carbon credits. Once a full block is completed, Prosimos will initiate registration of the block in the ART Registry in accordance with ART TREES rules and procedures.
ART TREES credits are issued and tracked at the jurisdictional level. Individual purchasers may be recognized through block-level documentation or associated confirmations rather than individually serialized registry entries. Prosimos maintains records linking your certificate to the registered block.
